Hrisy Markova : I'm 3rd year med studet and your videos are very helpful. Every good medical material is paid and many student can't afford it. So thank you, and please don't give up‍⚕️

Min huang : Holy hell, shame on me for not having found out sooner about your channel because that was a banging lecture. Great tempo, presentation, off-the-chart readable illustrations, great abstraction/compartmentalization so you understand the gist of related mechanisms I assume you have covered in many of your other videos... I know what I'll be binging for now.
David Conner : Hey Zach, can you please include a lecture on the various pathologies of Myoclonic spasms in this Neurology series? Information on Myoclonus is hard to find and it occurs in a lot of cases where there is no clear diagnosis. For me, tracing the various pathologies of this symptom/sign has helped me learn how a lot of these neuroanatomic systems interrelate. It requires a macro & micro understanding of the nervous system. Interesting points include how the afferent pathways can induce myoclonus in the stimulus-sensitive subtype and how abberant signaling in the cortex or other structures induces signal output through the Cranial Nerves or Spinal Nerves.

Relevant diseases and pathologies include (from wikipedia):

- Cortical reflex myoclonus
- Essential myoclonus
- JME (juvenile myoclonic epilepsy)
- LGS (Lennox-Gestaut syndrome)
- PME (progressive myclonus epilepsy)
- Lafora Disease (which has some interesting connections to mTOR, rapamycin & nanotech)
- Reticular reflex myoclonus
- Diaphramatic Flutter
- Action myoclonus
- Palatal myoclonus
- Middle ear myoclonus
- Spinal myoclonus
- Stimulus-sensitive myoclonus
- Sleep myoclonus
- Gluten ataxia (in presentation of a neurological gluten allergy; i have seen that only ~40% of non-Celiac gluten pathologies present with intestinal problems)

Neurologists that I have seen have glossed over my own myoclonus and I am still confused as to which type I have. I believe that it's Cortical Reflex Myoclonus. It's pretty difficult to diagnose and often presents in patients randomly, presumably unconnected to any other diagnosis.
Natural Killer : I am now in 2nd year medical student and I really don’t know how I could have survived without your vids
Keep up the excellent work❤️❤️❤️
